Small loans (up to €20,000, for investments up to €20,000) with a guarantee and subsidised interest for the first 3 years, to start or grow a business. For people who find it hard to access the labour market or are at risk of social exclusion and have an entrepreneurial profile, and for micro-entities and cooperatives with up to 10 workers creating new jobs. Priority goes to people aged 16 to 34 who are unemployed and have been registered at a job centre for at least 4 months. Applicants must be at least 16, have no banking incidents and not have received MICROINVEST or INVEST+ before. Up to 5 years, with a 2-year capital grace period. Includes free technical support from accredited organisations. The business dossier is sent to IEFP (microcredito@iefp.pt), which validates it and issues a document to present to a participating bank. Part of the PAECPE programme.
