If you have an SME or are self-employed, you can get back part of what you spend registering trademarks, designs or patents. It is EU support that closes when the money runs out.
If you are on Terceira or Graciosa (Azores), you can get between 50% and 100% as a grant for sea-related projects: up to €50,000 of investment for businesses and up to €100,000 for non-profits.
If your company, sole-trader business or local body was damaged by storm Kristin in a municipality under a state of calamity, you can ask your bank for publicly guaranteed credit up to the full value of the damage (minus what insurance pays), repayable over up to 10 years.
If you run a business, are self-employed, or manage an organization affected by storm Kristin in a disaster area, you can access a loan with a public guarantee of up to 80% to restore your cash flow. The financing reaches up to €100,000 for micro-enterprises and €500,000 for small businesses, with higher amounts for larger companies. The support is also available across mainland Portugal for those extracting wood damaged by the storm.
If you have a project that makes your area more attractive to tourists, you can get 60% (or more, in the interior) as a grant: up to €400,000 for municipalities and associations, or up to €200,000 for small businesses. Companies can only apply with social innovation projects or projects within PROVERE strategies.
If your company spends a lot on energy (at least 20% of production costs) or has seen raw material costs rise sharply, you can ask your bank for a publicly guaranteed loan to support cash flow: up to €100,000 for a micro company and up to €2.5 million for larger ones, repayable over up to 5 years.

If you have a small business or are a sole trader in Alentejo, operating for less than 3 years and focused on technology or creativity, you can apply for this support. You will receive non-refundable funding covering up to 75% of your costs, with a maximum amount of 1 million euros, which can reach 2 million euros for innovative companies.
If you run a business in the Algarve, you can get a 60% non-refundable grant to make your company more sustainable. This funding covers projects up to €200,000 focused on energy efficiency and emissions reduction, with priority for tourism and industry.
If you have a company or are self-employed, you can ask your bank for publicly guaranteed credit, which makes the loan easier to get and on better terms. It covers day-to-day needs, growth, buying another business or starting a newly created one.
If you find it hard to get a job or credit and want to start or grow a small business, you can ask for microcredit of up to €20,000 with a guarantee and lower interest, plus free help to prepare your project. Young unemployed people get priority.
